Again an original US cabriolet from 1984 appeared on the markets. Obviously the sales start a year earlier for the biggest markets for Porsche. Official production start was in MY 1985 when the M491 for the Cabriolet and Targa appeared first time on the pricelists.

Carefully said one can speak of a small sensation! Nevertheless, against all to up to now published "knowledge" a works build up 964 TURBO convertible really do exist. However, base is a Carrera 2 Turbo-Look Cabriolet, equipped in the work with the M30 / 69 3.3 litres Turbo engine and the G50 / 52 gearbox of the Turbo. The probably unique 1994 America Roadster leaves the USA. A collector from the Philippines has protected to himself this quite last copy, after his value was not recognised in America.
